The Mini Penny

~Kitschy Coo is having a sale! Use discount code PENNY for 20% off if you buy two or more patterns.  The discount code is good through Christmas Day.~

I do love this pattern!  I've sewn 4 Mini Penny Pinafores so far.  A dress each for the little girls, one tunic to share (Molly is wearing it right now!), and another tunic that we gave as a birthday gift last weekend.

Mini Penny, size 5/6

size:  5/6 with a 7 length
fabric:  cotton interlock for centers and sleeves, cotton/lycra jersey for side panels

I chose to use a smaller size for MG since she is built more like her older sister.  The orange/brown dress I made for BK fits her too...it's more flow-y on MG.

See the great fit through the chest!

I mustache you a question...

The Mini Penny is for sizes 6 months to 10 years of age.  It comes in two lengths...knee length and tunic.  It also has the option of cap sleeves or long sleeves.

I love how the Mini Penny looks with contrasting fabrics but it's just as sweet in one fabric!

Mini Penny Tunic

I found this adorable print at Joann Fabrics not that long ago.  I kind of wanted to use it for me but I'm really more a solids or stripe kind of person.

  7. Love all of your versions! And I really love that fabric. I will have to check to see if my Joann's has it after Christmas. I am too scared to try to go shopping before Christmas.
